We've been away again for a bit over a week this time, and when we got back yesterday we went straight to the site to see what had been done.
The brick work is pretty much complete. The facade needs to be rendered and the tiles etc need to go on. To say that we need to do a lot of landscaping is somewhat of an understatement!

The en-suite basins have been fitted.

The bi-fold doors are in. The black colour is protective plastic. They will be silver.

They have also spent a lot of time finishing off the plastering, skirting boards etc. The internal doors are nearly all in place as are some of the wardrobe doors.

This is how it looks from a few doors up the street.

Hey Jen,

You are way ahead now..

I'm starting to get jealous - yous is going to finish earlier than mine.

Ours is still completing the bricks, and finishing off the plaster. The West work extremely fast don't they? The front facade of bricks (like in this post) still needs to be done - and I can see they are out of bricks, just a very, very small pile.

Kitchens and bathrooms haven't even been delivered yet.

And the cornices and skirtings haven't gone in too.

We are way behind now. And we are still trying to solve that family room plaster hob issue. I have an appointment with the supervisor tomorrow.

And the master bedroom bedhead is wrong too. The display has two SLOT openings, and thats as per the drawings. They have cut out the slot for behind the wall, ie WIR, but have left the front of the wall...??

They still need to answer that one.

I will give you an update tomorrow if I can.

Andrew
